The Collection

A 29.5” x 21.25” print of Andy Warhol’s portrait of Debbie Harry, one of only three (plus AP), is presented in this framed assemblage, along with the original diskette from July 23, 1985 hand-signed by the artist in black Sharpie marker and containing the Warhol-made image file in Amiga’s IFF format, and four still video captures from the computer’s launch event at Lincoln Center.  These are arranged under museum glass with a black velvet mat in a matte black wood frame measuring 38” x 34.5”.

A computer disk containing the original, unaltered digital file of the portrait of Debbie Harry created by the artist and hand-signed “Andy Warhol” in black in Sharpie on July 23, 1985, given by the artist to Commodore engineer Jeff Bruette.
